How to install Triggerbee

Note: Make sure you have your tracking code ready before starting to install Triggerbee.

Installing Triggerbee on your website is as easy as 1 - 2 - 3

Installing can be done in several ways, depending on the setup of your website and the software tools you have access to. If you want to implement the tracking code directly in your source code, you'll find the instructions a bit further down. If you rather implement through your CMS or Google Tag Manager for instance, here are the options:

Collect and copy your tracking code ( instructions here).


Open the editor of your source code and paste your tracking code before the closing </body>-tag on every page (or globally if that's an option).



Note: It might take a couple of minutes for Triggerbee to start tracking visitors on your website. Make sure that visitors are starting to appear in your Triggerbee account before completing the installation. Reach out to us if you are in need of assistance.

Identifying visitors

If you have a website or app where users login you can set the identity of the visitor session in Triggerbee.  In order to identify a customer, you need to send their email address to Triggerbee as a custom visitor property.

Tracking Events

You can log important events on your website to Triggerbee using “Goals”-method. Goals represent important events on your website that contributes to the success of your business. Goals are used in Triggerbee to define audiences, segment visitors and initiate automations. 

Common examples of goals are:

  • Logging in

  • Completing a purchase

  • Form submission

  • Adding a product to the cart

Connecting your forms
