How to disable Widgets on mobile devices

IMPORTANT: This article applies to our old Widget product, which will be phased out during 2020 in favor of our new and improved widget tool Onsite Campaigns. Read more, and learn about the Onsite Campaign Product here.

This guide will teach you how to disable your Widgets from showing up on mobile devices.

1
Navigate to the "When to show" section of the widget editor.
2
Scroll down to Exceptions and check the box for "Hide on mobile devices".
3
As default, we'll set the width to 767px, which will cover most of all available mobile screen widths. This field is editable if you want to change the breaking point.
4
Publish your changes. The widget will not be visible on mobile devices from now on.

Note: If you want to keep your widget on mobile devices, but make some adjustments to the design on if, you can do so through mobile-specific CSS - which you can read more about here.
