Connect your domain name for improved tracking

Setting the visitors cookie server-side enhances the length in time that each visitor can be remembered. The new cookie name will be _smtruid.

First you need to connect your domain name to Triggerbee servers by pointing a subdomain (CNAME) to Triggerbee. Then you activate the setting "Set Cookies from Server"  in the Settings > Tracking section.  Last, you need to update the Script Snippet before installing it on your website. We will go through these three steps below:

  • If you need additional assistance making changes to your DNS records, reach out to your DNS provider's support team.
