Managing Users

Updated over a week ago

User levels

Users come in two permission levels. Regular and Admin.

  • Regular users have restricted access to account settings, billing, and user management.

  • Admin users have full access to everything in your account.

Add user

Triggerbee does not have any limits to the number of users you can have in your account, so go ahead and invite every colleague and friend you think might enjoy Triggerbee! There are two approaches to adding a new user to your account.

Inviting through the left menu. This option is useful when you only want to invite someone to the account you are currently in. The user will get the same language settings as you have.

  1. Click "Invite user" in the left menu.

  2. Enter the email address of the new user and select user permission level.

  3. Invite. The user will get an email where they can activate their account and select a password.

Inviting under User Management in Account Settings. This option is recommended when you want to either select any other language than the one you have (our options are English and Swedish), and/or if you want to add the user to multiple accounts. This is also where you edit and delete users.

  1. Navigate to My Triggerbee --> Users.

  2. Click "Invite User". Enter the name, language, and email address of the new user, and select user permission level.

  3. Invite. The user will get an email where they can activate their account and select a password.

Re-invite user

  1. Navigate to My Triggerbee --> Users

  2. Locate the user you want to invite again and click on that row

  3. Click the "Send password reset" button.

  4. The user should now get a new email with an invitation link.

Edit the permission level for the user

  1. Navigate to My Triggerbee --> Users

  2. Locate the user you want to change permission for.

  3. Toggle the Admin button on/off depending on the desired outcome.

  4. Save

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Users signing in with email and password can enable TOTP-based MFA. You’ll need an authenticator app (like Google Authenticator or Authy) to scan the QR code and enter the rotating code at login.

Note: MFA is not available for Google-authenticated logins, as they already support MFA separately.

Admins can help remove MFA in exceptional cases (procedure needed for

compromised accounts).

You can activate Multi-Factor Authentication in your User Settings:
