When working with campaigns that contain multiple steps, one might be curious about how the engagement remains during the sign-up flow, survey, guide, or whatever type of multi-step campaign you have going. Here's where the Triggerbee Engagement Funnel comes in handy!
How to set up the Funnel
Sit back and relax! Funnels are automatically created for all campaigns that contain more than 1 step. Triggerbee will track how many visitors see each step in the campaign and display the funnel accordingly. The dropoff value represents how many visitors did not see this step of the campaign.
As an example, let's check out this funnel below.
17,372 visitors have seen the first entry step of the campaign with the cliffhanger offer.
Out of those 17,372 visitors - 6,451 got curious enough to open the campaign and saw the next step, where the signup form was displayed. 62% dropoff at this point.
And out of those 6,451 visitors, only 1048 visitors thought it was a good enough offer to sign up, and got to see the final step of the campaign. A final dropoff of 83%.
Things to have in mind
The Engagement funnel displays statistics for all time, not just the last 7 days, which is the default for other campaign statistics
βFunnel statistics count sessions, whereas Campaign Statistics count Pageviews. Thus, the difference between the views of the campaign and the first step in the funnel can vary a lot.
β
This is noticeable especially if you have a Teaser as the first step of your campaign, which follows the visitor and displays over and over (multiple campaign views), but the funnel will only count 1.
If you add, remove, or rearrange the steps in your campaign, the engagement funnel might be affected.
