Integrate with Omnisend

How to integrate Omnisend with Triggerbee.

Updated today

This setup lets you send contacts, tags, and segments from Triggerbee to Omnisend. Once connected, every signup, form, and interaction can be used in your email flows and segmentation.

Step-by-step guide

Step 1: Log in to Omnisend

Start by logging into your Omnisend account.

Step 2: Create an API key

Go to Store SettingsAPICreate API key

Step 3: Configure your API key

Name your API key: Triggerbee

Then enable these permissions:

  • Contacts

  • Segments

Save it and click Copy API key.

Step 4: Connect Omnisend in Triggerbee

Log in to your Triggerbee account and go to Apps and Integrations → Browse apps → and find Omnisend.

Paste your API key into the configuration field.

Step 5: Choose what data to sync

Select which contact fields Triggerbee should update. We recommend selecting all available fields. Triggerbee collects both session data and contact data that can be synced to your email tool for segmentation and automation

Recommended
Enable “Add tag ‘Source:triggerbee’ to created contacts

This helps you:

  • Track where contacts come from

  • Measure performance in Omnisend

  • Build better segments based on source

Step 6: Add tags and segments

Now decide what Triggerbee should have access to.

Adding tags

Enter your tags:

  • One tag per row

  • Use the exact same names as in Omnisend

Adding segments

In Omnisend, go to Audience → Segments

  1. Click the segment you want

  2. In your address bar, grab the last set of numbers after "lastid=".

  3. Paste it into Triggerbee using the format "My Segment=123456789"

  4. Save it and you're done.

Using Omnisend lists and segments for targeting

With the Triggerbee and Omnisend integration, you can target onsite campaigns based on what lists and segments a visitor belongs to in Omnisend.

  1. Go to Audiences in Triggerbee and create a new audience.

  2. Click Add filter and select your Omnisend list or segment. Then define if the visitor should be in the list:

  3. Select the segment you want to create as an audience. Save your selection, and save the audience.

  4. Go to any campaign you've created, and you can select the segment you want to target from the "Audience" drop down.

You can now use this audience in your campaigns to show targeted messages to visitors based on their Omnisend data.
