Account Settings

Account Name

This is the name of your account, which you will see in the top right corner of the app. This field is editable, and you can change the name whenever you like.

Domain

The domain represents the domain of the website on which you use Triggerbee. The tracking code that you installed Triggerbee with is connected to this domain and will only work on that domain. You can only have one main domain per account.

If you rebuild your website and change your domain, eg. going from triggerbee.com to triggerbee.se, for instance - you have to update the domain here for Triggerbee to whitelist it in the tracking code.

Subdomains ("Also accept traffic from the following domains")

If you have subdomains or developer domains that you want to use Triggerbee on, you have to add these to your Triggerbee account for us to whitelist them in the tracking code.

Note: This field only accepts subdomains, eg, developer.triggerbee.com or shop.triggerbee.com. If you want to use Triggerbee on another main domain (eg. triggerbee.net - you need to add another account.

Campaign Preview URL

When previewing campaigns, Triggerbee will add a query to your URL that forces the campaign to display. The query looks like this:

?dev=true&tb-widget-preview=20731&tb-nocache=true

The Campaign Preview URL is useful when your website requires a specific URL to allow this type of query or when you want to always preview campaigns on a certain page.

For example, you might have Triggerbee installed on webpage.com, but the site always has a /en in the URL (www.webpage.com/en). Triggerbee will then try to preview campaigns to webpage.com?dev=true.. which will not work. This is where the campaign preview comes in. By specifying webpage.com/en as your campaign preview URL, Triggerbee will instead always preview on webpage.com/en?dev=true..

Web Tracking

Form Listener

By using the feature "Listen to the forms on your website", Triggerbee automatically intercepts your form values. We do not recommend activating the form listener unless you have an integrity policy that specifies that forms will be automatically scraped.

Single Page App

If your website is built with an SPA framework, your pageviews will be logged differently, and because of that, the Triggerbee default script will not catch those pageviews. To catch all page views on SPA websites, we have the SPA Tracking Setting, which you have to activate if you have an SPA website. This will upgrade your tracking script to function better with the SPA framework.

Note: You also have to make sure to install the tracking script according to our SPA installation guide.

Campaign Settings

Allow multiple Overlay

This setting decides whether to allow or not allow multiple overlays (pop-ups, callouts, and panels) to be opened simultaneously. This setting is activated by default, meaning two popups can be displayed on top of each other.

Teasers and minimized campaigns are not included in this setting.

Note: If you have two campaigns, the last one created will be shown first. To change this, duplicate the oldest and use the copy if that is the one that should be shown first.

Data settings

Unique Identifier

Choose what profile field is your unique identifier. Typically (and by default if nothing else is selected here), email is used, but some customers also use a membership ID or CRM_ID or similar. This is especially useful when you want to track visitors anonymously.

Automatic data cleaning

This feature allows you to automatically delete Profiles in Triggerbee after a specified period. By default, profiles that haven't visited your website in 36 months will be deleted in Triggerbee, and their form data will be anonymized.

If you wish to manually delete profiles, this can be done under the Audience --> Profiles section in Triggerbee.
