Present personal data to you in reports and dashboards
All data are stored within the EU on different cloud-based services. We store data on backups (with a few weeks rotation).
β
For how long does Triggerbee store personal data?
The data collected and aggregated are stored at different time spans depending on the chosen Plan and the settings of each account.
Complete session data
A session is data stored to a certain event, such as a website visit, a chat session, a purchase. All details about a session with all logged events related to a session. This data is typically stored for a few days to a few weeks. Please consult your support team in order to know exactly your Accounts settings.
Summary of session data
A summary of a session, such as if important events happened, what the source was and the time spent. This data is typically stored for a few months to a year. Please consult your support team in order to know exactly your Accounts settings.
Profile Data
Profile data is collected personal data about your identified visitors (typically email addresses, names, phone numbers etc). Profiles can also contain aggregated data about the persons interest, the frequency of visits, achieved events, campaign activity and dates.
Triggerbee stores this information until you delete it or you cancel the account. Therefore you must inform your customers of how long you are planning to store the data
Note: For accounts that started with Triggerbee after 2025-05-10, Triggerbee will automatically delete profiles 36 months after the latest time they were seen on your website. This setting can be adjusted in your Account Settings.
β
If you have an older account, it is possible to activate automatic deletion, but you have to manually delete older profiles.
Removing Personal Data
Automatic Profile Deletion
With the automatic profile deletion feature, Triggerbee will automatically delete profiles that have not been seen on your website for a period of your choosing, eg. 24 months. We recommend that you use this feature to keep your profile data up to date.
Anonymize form responses
The automatic deletion will only delete Profiles. This means that any email addresses that have signed up in a Form, thus being stored in a Form Response List - will still be in Triggerbee even if its Profile is deleted.
Activate the "Anonymize form responses" feature to anonymize form responses belonging to deleted profiles. Triggerbee will then anonymize all our default fields for that profile, such as Email address, Name, and Phone number.
Remember - if you have logged or asked for other personal data in custom fields - these will not be anonymized. We will, however, anonymize form responses from fields with the key socialSecurityNumber. Only form responses collected after the key has been set will be anonymized.
β
Note: For accounts that started with Triggerbee after 2025-05-10, the automatic deletion of profiles is automatically activated but can be turned off or adjusted in your Account Settings. If you have an older account, it is possible to activate automatic deletion, but you have to manually delete older profiles.
Upon Cancellation
When you cancel your account with us, all personal data that belongs to your account will be deleted as soon as your binding period is over. If you want all data in your account to be immediately removed, you need to send a written request to our Support staff through our Helpdesk. Aggregated data from your account, where all personal data have been removed, such as overall campaign metrics handled by our servers (number of page views, number of form submissions etc.) will remain.
