We know that many of you have more than one account in Triggerbee (some of you even have 40+ accounts!). In our world, one user (login) can have access to one or many accounts within a Customer.
Even though Triggerbee does not have an overview of all the accounts within a single Customer (yet!), we do have a lot of features that make it very easy to work with multiple accounts. In most cases, you can copy and manage campaigns, audiences, and users across your accounts. Here's how to do so!
General best practice
Select one account as your master account. From here, you will build campaigns and distribute them across your other accounts.
Have one or two Admins who decide when and where to publish campaigns
Only give users access to accounts that they need, to minimize cluttering
Campaigns
Copying of campaigns can be done between your accounts with a simple click. When building campaigns, we recommend that you finish your design from A to Z before copying it to your other accounts.
How to copy a campaign to another account
Create and design your campaign
Once done, open the campaign menu and select "Copy to another account":
In the dialog that appears, select all accounts you want to copy the campaign to (yes, you can select multiple!)
βSelect whether to override any campaigns in the target accounts that have the same name. Eg, if you already have a "Summer Campaign" in the target account, do you want that to be replaced with your new campaign, or be saved as a copy? We recommend that you always make copies.
Finally, select whether to publish the campaign right away or save it as a draft in the target account(s).
Note: Custom Audiences will not follow when copying campaigns, unless it is an Audience that is available on all your accounts.
Remember! You must go to your other accounts to make adjustments to audiences, targeting, and translations before publishing.
Variables and Brand Settings
If you have been using Text or Colors Variables in your campaign, all the variables will be replaced with their corresponding values from the target accounts. The same goes for Brand Settings. If you have used a Brand setting background color, and have another color in the receiving account, the campaign will get that brand color instead. Cool, huh?! Read more about brand settings and variables here.
Audiences
Depending on the filters and session conditions of your Audience, you can select to make your Audience available on the "account group" (another name for "Customer"). This will make the Audience available in all the accounts for that Customer.
Note: This will make the Audience available on all the accounts in the group (customer), even if your particular user doesn't have access to all the accounts.
Brand Settings
You can copy Brand settings between your accounts. To do this, simply click the "copy brand settings" button after you have set your brand settings in your "master" account. This can be done multiple times if you wish to make changes to your brand.
In the flyout that opens upon clicking the copy button, select if you wish to copy only brand settings or also the text variables from the current account.
Users
You can see all the users within the current account under My Triggerbee > Users. If you invite another colleague, that user will only have access to the current account. To add them to more accounts within the Customer, you have to edit the user and add the other accounts.
