Brand settings let you set your campaigns' default fonts, colors, and styles. These will automatically apply when you create or edit a campaign, so you don’t have to start from scratch every time.
How to set up Brand Settings
You will find your Brand Settings under My Triggerbee > Customization > Brand Settings.
Want a quick tour instead? Check out our Brand Settings Tour here:
Start in the General Design tab. Here, you'll decide what your general components should look like in terms of color, fonts, size, and shape. For instance, your brand might always use the font Abril Fatface in the size 30px for headlines, and blue, rounded buttons with a white font. Adjust each setting in this tab until the preview campaign on the right looks as desired.
For Triggerbee Pro Plan and above, you can upload your custom fonts.
Then, move on to the Form Design Tab, where you'll do the same setting procedure for your forms. Eg. deciding what your input-fields should look like.
When you're done with your design, simply save it and go ahead to Campaigns, where all the campaigns from the template gallery will now get your brand settings! If you are wondering how to update your current campaigns, just keep on reading!
Updating Brand Settings
You can update your Brand Settings at any point. If you do so, this prompt will appear in your campaigns to ask if you want to update the campaign to your latest changes. Simply press Update for Triggerbee to apply your new Brand Settings.
How to make your old campaigns work with the new Brand Settings
The new extended capabilities of brand settings (such as background color, button appearance etc) was introduced in April 2025. Any older campaigns will not support these new design settings. But there is a way to modify your older campaigns to support them.
Note: It is possible to continue running your campaigns without Brand Settings, but we highly recommend updating them.
First of all, this prompt will appear in the editor. Click YES to activate the Brand Settings for this campaign.
Text Components
First, select whether the current component is of type Headline or Text.
Change the Font Family to Default to apply the corresponding Font Family (your selected headline or paragraph font)
Next, empty the fields for size, weight, letter height, and letter spacing.
Canvas, Buttons, Input Fields, and other components
For all other components that have matching Brand Variables, this button will appear underneath. Simply press it to apply the brand setting value. So go through each component in your campaign and go through all the settings and click the button where applicable.
Once you’ve gone through all components of your campaign and adjust according to above instructions, your older campaign will be compatible with the new Brand Settings.
Copy Brand Settings
If you have multiple accounts in Triggerbee, it is possible to copy brand settings between them. Think of all the time you will save! To do this, simply click the "copy brand settings" button. This can be done multiple times if you wish to make changes to your brand.
In the flyout that opens upon clicking the copy button, select if you wish to copy only brand settings, or also the text variables from the current account.
Custom Fonts
Uploading your custom fonts is a great way to make your campaigns look cohesive with your website. You can upload custom fonts via a CSS reference link or by uploading font files.
Custom Fonts is found under Customization --> Brand Settings --> Fonts. Press +ADD to add a new font.
Upload font files
Give your font a name and use Alt. 2 to add the font files (approved file types: otf, woff, ttf). You can add multiple font files for one font.
For each font file, we will automatically identify the weight and font type. This means, when using this font in your campaign - we will apply the corresponding font file when changing between bold, italic etc.
Save your font. It will now appear in the font selector in Brand Settings and the Campaign Editor.
Add CSS Reference Link
Give your font a name and use Alt. 1 to add the CSS reference link, eg.
https://fonts.googleapis.com/css2?family=Mukta:wght@300;500;600
The name needs to be exactly the same as what you use on your website, so Triggerbee can render it correctly. The font also needs to be installed on your webpage to work.
Note: Fonts with license restrictions that limit the usage to specific domains will not work inside the Triggerbee UI.
Save your font. It will now appear in the font selector in Brand Settings and the Campaign Editor.
Custom Colors
When editing colors in your campaigns, you will always have your brand colors to select from and your most recently used colors. It is also common to have some additional accent colors. You can add these as custom colors, which will then appear in the color picker:
To add a custom color, navigate to Customaztion --> Brand Settings --> Color Palette. Add a new color by selecting one from the color picker or adding its HEX code. It is optional to give your color a name, but recommended. Save your color for it to appear in the color picker.
Text Variables
If you are working with many campaigns that share the same text component, such as disclaimers or discounts, you can use Text Variables to quickly update these components.
You will find the text variables in the Customization Section in Triggerbee. They consist of one key and one value, where the key is the name of the variable and the value is the dynamic part that can be changed. For instance, you could have the member signup page as a variable - where the key would be "disclaimer" and the value is the disclaimer text. The key is what is selected in your campaign, which refers to the given value.
The text variables you create can be added as text to your text fields from the tiny editor. Select the variable you want, and it will be added to the text within curly brackets. Do not remove these. {disclaimer} will be replaced with the value of that key whenever the campaign is published (or previewed).

Note: If you change the value of your text variable, you still need to re-publish the campaigns that are using the variable for the value to update in the live campaign.
