How to integrate Triggerbee and Shopware

Step 1: Create API credentials in Shopware

Start in your Shopware admin.

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations

  2. Click Add Integration

  3. Name it Triggerbee and turn on the Administrator switch.

⚠️ Important: Before you click "Save integration", copy and paste your Access Key ID and Secret Access Key. Store them temporarily somewhere, because you need both for the next step.

You only get access to the Secret Access Key once. If you save the integration without saving your Secret Access Key, you must generate a new Secret key.

Step 2: Connect Shopware in Triggerbee

Now switch to Triggerbee.

  1. Go to Settings → Apps & Integrations

  2. Find Shopware in the list of Integrations and click on it. Then click on Configure to configure the integration.

  3. To connect with Shopware, enter the following information: Your Shopware URL, Access Key ID, and Secret Access Key.

  4. Follow the steps and set up your default settings for new contacts.

  5. Click Save. Your Shopware store is now connected to Triggerbee!

Step 3: Use audiences from Shopware in Triggerbee

Once connected, you can use Shopware data for targeting in Triggerbee.

This means you can show different campaigns on your website based on Customer groups and Sales channels from your Shopware store.

Triggerbee combines this with real-time behavior, so you can target the right visitor at the right moment.

How to create a Shopware audience in Triggerbee

If you've never set up an audience in Triggerbee, we recommend you read our intro to audiences to learn how audiences work, and how to use them for targeting.

  1. Go to Audience in Triggerbee and create a new audience.

  2. Click on + New Audience. This will trigger a fly-out panel on the right side of your screen.

  3. In the fly-out, enter a name for your audience and click on + Add filter.

  4. Select Shopware Sales Channel or Shopware Customer Group.

  5. Choose your segment in the modal that appears.

  6. Click Save in the modal. And then click Save in the audience fly-out.

Audiences are built from filters and can be combined with session data for more precise targeting.

Use the audience in a campaign

  1. Open your campaign

  2. Go to Settings

  3. Find the Audience section

  4. Select your new audience

  5. Publish

Now your campaign will only show to that segment.
